How to Login to TNPDS

Open the Official TNPDS Website
Open your browser and visit www.tnpds.gov.in to access Tamil Nadu Public Distribution System services.

Select Citizen Login
On the homepage, look for the Citizen Login or equivalent beneficiary login option. Select the available login service.

Enter Registered Mobile Number
Enter the 10-digit mobile number registered with your Tamil Nadu smart ration card.

Complete Captcha Verification
If a captcha appears, enter the characters shown on the screen to complete the security check.

Request OTP
Select the available Submit or OTP request option. A one-time password will be sent to your registered mobile number.

Enter and Verify OTP
Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number and complete verification on the official TNPDS portal.

Access Your Ration Card Services
After successful authentication, you can access the available beneficiary services, including ration card information, entitlement details, transaction history and service requests.
Common Login Problems and Solutions
OTP Not Received
Check your mobile network and SMS reception. Use the Resend OTP option if available and try again.
Mobile Number Not Registered
Contact the official TNPDS helpdesk for guidance on registering or updating your mobile number.
Invalid or Expired OTP
Enter the latest OTP correctly. If it has expired, request a new OTP and complete verification.
Captcha Verification Error
Refresh the captcha, if available, and enter the displayed characters correctly before submitting.
Website Not Opening
Check your internet connection and try again later. Use only the verified government portal.
Reference Number Login Issue
An application reference number is different from your registered mobile number. Use the Smart Card Application Status service for reference-number-based tracking.
